Activities/Interests

Photography has been one of my hobbies since middle school. I just like capturing moments through lens. I'm always driving around the Triangle Area with my friends looking for good shooting locations. My photography style leans towards urban landscape and street fashion. I shoot with a Nikon D7100 and Sony Alpha a7s. I am grateful to have friends that enjoy photography like me. Not only does is it laidback and fun, we sometimes help each other improve as a photographer. We critique each other's photos and gives tips to one another on how we can make the photo finer. 

Music has also shaped who I've become and I wouldn't be what I am today if it weren't for band. Being a part of Athens Drive Marching band and Wind Ensemble plays a big role in my life and I couldn't imagine going through high school without it. I've been playing flute for 7 years and I am currently studying with Amy Holt, a member of the Raleigh Area Flute Association (RAFA). She is the director and conductor for the Silver Pipes and Silver Fantasy Flute Choirs. I am also a part of the Capital City Youth Winds, a woodwind quintet that consists of advanced musicians. We travel around the Triangle Area and perform for weddings, and receptions. The Athens Drive Wind Ensemble will be going to Koka Booth and State Festival and performing.
